Six common elements of a commercial camera system. We design and install the whole stack.
Camera selection and placement
Dome, bullet, turret, multi-sensor, PTZ. We pick the form factor that fits the space, the lens that gets the angle of view you need, and the resolution that holds up at the retention you want.
PoE switch and cabling
Cat6 PoE+ drops sized for the camera count, on a managed switch with the right PoE budget and VLAN segmentation so cameras live on their own network.
NVR or cloud video
Local NVR with hot-swap drives, cloud VMS with subscription billing, or hybrid. We size the retention against the camera bitrates so a 30-day window actually lasts 30 days.
Remote viewing and apps
Mobile app and web access configured for the right people, with role-based permissions so the front desk does not have admin and your manager does not have to call us to add a user.
Analytics and integrations
Line-crossing, motion zones, license-plate recognition where supported. Integration with access control so a card swipe records a clip.
Documentation and training
Camera-by-camera map, login credentials handed off properly, and a walk-through of the system with the people who will actually use it.

We do not hide PoE budget shortfalls in the bid. The switch is sized for the camera count plus 30% headroom so the system actually works on full PoE+ load.
Retention math, not retention marketing
Bitrate per camera times days times cameras. You see the storage math, not a marketing number. If you need 60 days we size for 60 days.
Real handoff at the end
You finish the project with a labeled map, working logins, and a real walk-through. Not a folder of PDFs and a vendor you cannot reach.

Common questions
Do you install a specific brand?
We install several commercial-grade IP PoE manufacturers. We do not lock you to one platform. We can recommend the right system for your building, retention need, and budget once we have walked the site.
Can you integrate with my access control?
Yes, if both systems support a shared event protocol or API. We confirm integration capability before we quote, so the bid reflects the actual scope, not a hope.
Do you store the recordings?
You own the storage. We install local NVR on your premises, or set up a cloud VMS that bills to your account. We do not run a JHC cloud that locks your footage to us.
Will the system pass an insurance review?
For most commercial policies, yes. We get the retention and camera-placement requirements from your insurer or risk-management spec, and design the system against those.
Can you add cameras later?
Yes. We size the cable plant, switch, and NVR with headroom so adding cameras later is a small change order, not a rebuild.
